Linsey Ly, Asian American Studies

 

Linsey Ly is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology at The Graduate, Center (CUNY). Her dissertation research examines how modern “ghost cities” in China, including empty or abandoned urban landscapes and ruinous environments, are key features of “capitalist modernities” emerging “global” futures. Research interests include social theory, philosophical anthropology, intellectual histories, and Southeast/East Asia.
