Dana Liu, Asian American Studies
Dana Liu (M.F.A., Fiction, The New School; M.A. U.S. Foreign Policy and China
Studies, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies; B.A.,
Asian American Studies, Cornell University) has a creative writing and
international policy background. She has worked at Artist Management
Group, the Economist Group, the World Bank, the Asian American
Writers' Workshop, and as a community mentor at GirlsWriteNow. Her
fiction and poetry are published in The Best of Carve Magazine
Anthology and International Feminist Journal of Politics, and her
articles and journalism appear in Asiaweek, Center for Strategic

(fiction, memoir), and international Asian American film and
