Wednesday, April 5
One on One Resume and Interviewing Workshop

Graduation is around the corner.  This job readiness workshop will focus on getting your resume noticed and how to interview successfully. This workshop is for all students who are seeking employment.  Meet for a 15 – 30 minute, one on one workshop of your resume and your interviewing skills.  Sessions will start at 12PM, email your resume and time preference to accesstesting@hunter.cuny.edu.

Q&A with Robert Hanski of ParkerHanski

ParkerHanski works to eliminate discriminatory and predatory behaviors directed at persons with disabilities through education and litigation.  Outside of the court process, we speak and present at disability rights organizations (including DIA, BCID, NAC and Educational Alliance) to educate individuals and organizations about the laws requiring equal access for persons with disabilities, empowering them to use self-help methods utilizing these laws.

Q&A with Choreographer Heidi Latsky

Heidi Latsky Dance (HLD) is a New York-based modern dance company founded in 2001 dedicated to redefining beauty and virtuosity through provocative and innovative performance and discourse, using performers with unique attributes to bring rigorous, passionate and provocative contemporary dance to diverse audiences. In 2006, the company began making work for and with people with disabilities, creating GIMP in 2008. Inclusive works IF (2010) & TRIPTYCH (2014) continued the exploration of work for integrated casts. In 2014, HLD became a 501(c)(3) organization as Latsky Dance, Inc.

April 19:  Course withdrawl period ends.  Last day to withdraw from class with a grade of W.

April 20:  (Thursday) Classes follow a Monday schedule.
