We're hearing more and more about interdisciplinarity and interdisciplinary teaching. But what does such teaching really look like? What does it mean to teach in an interdisciplinary way? What do students gain from taking interdisciplinary courses? What challenges does interdisciplinary education present, and how can they be met? These questions will be addressed by Hunter faculty members with extensive experience teaching and team-teaching in interdisciplinary courses. Come learn about the programs in which interdisciplinary teaching is taking place, and hear about examples of fields and specialties that are working together to create new learning experiences for Hunter students.
