Are you teaching a Significant Writing (W) course for the first time? Are you teaching one again, and thinking about ways to change it? The Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program can offer advice founded on evidence-based principles and best practices . Do you want to (re)design your assignments? Do you want to (re)develop assessment methods? Do you want to (re)consider how writing fits in your syllabus, your Blackboard site, your classroom? WAC principles can frame the issues and name the challenges, and WAC best practices can provide a menu of options for making writing a “significant” learning experience for your students.
