Teaching and research need not be compartmentalized. Both undergraduates and graduate students can participate in, shape, and test research outside and within the classroom. Beyond presenting research results in the classroom , faculty can organize student involvement in research, which affects the flow of information between professors and students, demonstrates the flexible nature of knowledge, and enhances academic productivity. This session will focus on student involvement in the research process at virtually all levels of instruction and across disciplines.
