Auxiliary Enterprises Corp. – Bookstore |
The AEC is a mechanism for providing grant support for the campus at large via proceeds from rental and service contracts on campus. |
The AEC manages the contracts for the food and vending services on campus, as well as the bookstore. |
The AEC will collect data from the campus bookstore concerning the amount of used books sold as a percentage of all books sold. This will be a baseline used in future comparison. |
Data will be collected monthly beginning December 2009. |
Business Office – Perkins Loans |
The Financial Aid Processing Center (FAPC) offers students subsidized loans to help afford the cost of a college education. |
The Perkins Loan is a low-interest federal loan program available to students meeting certain need criteria. |
FAPC will collect baseline data on defaulted Perkins Loans vs. total Perkins Loans for use in future years’ comparisons. |
Data will be collected monthly beginning December 2009. |
Campus Dining Services – Public Satisfaction |
Campus dining services (currently AVI Fresh) provide hot and cold food for sale in the school’s cafeterias, as well as catering service for the campus. |
AVI has committed to provide a varied, healthy, environmentally friendly menu to Hunter. |
Baseline data will be collected using a numeric-scaled satisfaction survey. |
Data will be collected at the end of each semester/session (winter and summer). |
Facilities – Work Order System |
The Facilities and Planning department maintains the physical learning and working environments across all Hunter’s campuses. |
Currently, there is the Archibus work order system in place for students/faculty/staff to submit requests to Facilities. |
The department will track the timeline from submission to completion of all maintenance requests from faculty and student groups to create a baseline for future years’ comparisons. |
Data will be collected monthly beginning December 2009. |
Hunter Green – Sustainability |
Hunter Green is a committee made up of representatives from faculty, students, and staff from across all campuses. |
Hunter Green monitors and develops ways in which Hunter College works constantly to become a greener school. |
Baseline data will be collected on the amount of recyclables collected and disposed of properly by the campus, as well as energy consumption reports across all campuses. |
Data will be collected monthly beginning December 2009. |
OneCard – Dining Plan Usage |
The OneCard allows students to pay for things like printing, postage, and food across all Hunter’s campuses without the need for cash. |
The OneCard dining plan allows students to set aside a specific amount of money on their card to be used exclusively in the dining facilities on campus without the student paying any sales tax, thereby saving the student nearly 9% on every meal purchased. |
The OneCard office will create a baseline for comparison in future years by determining the number of students using the dining plan as a percent of total students, as well as track the amount of dollars spent using the dining plan as a percent of all dollars spent by students in the cafeterias on the OneCard. |
Data will be collected monthly beginning December 2009. |
