Instructions to Register for Senior Citizens

Step 1: Claim Your CUNYfirst Account

Visit the CUNYfirst Log-In page, then click the First-Time Users" link here →

Step 2: Submit Proof of Immunization Requirements

All students are required to submit proof of immunization records to the Counseling and Wellness Office, located in Room 307, Hunter North Building. For details, please visit the Counseling and Wellness Office website here → .

Step 3: Obtain Permission to Register for Course(s) (where applicable)

Some courses may require the completion of pre-requisite coursework prior to registering. As a senior auditor, you may request permission directly from the academic department advisor for the course you seek to enroll. If you receive permission to enroll in a course that requires a pre-requisite, please be sure the advisor enters the permission in the CUNYfirst system. Step 4: Register for Classes via CUNYfirst

To register, log into your CUNYfirst Student Center to see your individual enrollment appointment time and to search for courses. To access your Student Center, log into your CUNYfirst account, select HR/Campus Solutions from the first menu after login, then click on Self Service ---> Student Center. Course Availability: As students add/drop courses throughout the registration period, courses that may have previously been closed on your assigned registration date may re-open. You should check back frequently for the most up-to-date course availability. Refer to the individual academic department offering the course for their policy on over-tallying courses. NOTE: As a reminder, applying as a senior auditor does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on space availability and eligibility. Failure to enroll for the current admitted semester will result in the need to reapply if attendance is desired in a future semester.
