Nicole Gordon

I'm Nicole Gordon, and I've been working at Hunter College since 2006 as an Academic Advisor for Students in Transition. I earned my B.S. with a double major in Secondary Education and English from Buffalo State College. I went on to earn a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University at Buffalo. While my area of specialty is working with incoming first-year students, having the opportunity to work with students from all walks of life has been such an enriching experience. I'm originally from the New York City area, and I draw inspiration from many sources, including W.E.B Dubois: "We hold the possible future in our hands not by wish and will, only by thought, plan, knowledge, and organization."
