Women who went to Hunter College taught their children a love of learning and the desire to excel. Every May, sons and daughters and husbands and nieces and partners pay tribute to the special Hunter women in their lives - by making a donation to Hunter's Mother's Day Scholarship Fund. The fund provides scholarships to some of Hunter's finest and most deserving students - many of whom are first-generation Americans and often the first in their families to attend college.
