Hunter College
remains true to the mission of providing an academically challenging
education to many who would not otherwise have the opportunity
to go to college. Many of our students are immigrants
and
the children of immigrants, coming from 150 countries. More
than a third of the students are the first in their families
to attend college.
The Annual Fund encourages alumni and friends to renew
their commitment to Hunter College by making a gift to
the university. These gifts strengthen Hunter's ability
to serve students, faculty and staff through scholarships,
teaching innovations and the latest technology. Such
