My research interest is the molecular evolution of humans and primates, specifically molecular clocks and adaptation.  My teaching interests are in physical anthropology, human and primate evolution, and human biology.  I accept and mentor students through the Hunter College Anthropology undergraduate program, the Hunter College Anthropology MA program, and the Graduate Center Ph D programs in Anthropology and Biology, including students who are part of NYCEP.
