Salon Series

The AGDEP Salon Series offers students the opportunity to showcase their creative work in professional performance studios throughout New York City. Through ongoing events that will include studio showings, works in progress, Q&A sessions with choreographers, and more, our students will continue to develop their work and deepen their connection to NYC's rich artistic community. The Salon Series will provide a context in which students can engage in professional performance processes and develop an analytical and interpretive discourse around their work.

Past Salon Series events have included Henning Rübsam and his company SENSEDANCE performing a studio showing of works from "Two by Two" at the Ailey Studios in November, 2013 and Lannette Alvarez and Prashant Sitaram, along with their respective companies VueLA Performing Artists and Rangeela Dance Troupe performing a split bill of "Parallels" at Shetler Studios in February, 2014.
