CORD + SDHS Annual Conference

The 2017 CORD+SDHS conference, hosted by The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, marks a historic merger of these two important organizations into the Dance Studies Association (DSA). This inaugural conference of DSA is themed Transitions and Traces: Rendering Dance. It will celebrate the collaboration and cooperation that has lead to combining our strengths as Dance Studies scholars to achieve DSA’s aspirations to serve and grow its international membership.

Student Spotlight 2016

Congratulations to graduates, Nina Goldman, Desiree Betancourt, Elena Santiago, Uthman Ebrahim, Camille Freund, Sarah Galleano, Keyla Hiraldo, Duplessey Walker, Yao Xu, Jessica Pearl Marasigan, Timothy Junior Anderson, Ariel Asch, Monique Leflore, Monica Lessard, Maxine Montilus, Pia Murray, Shola Roberts, Anne Zuerner, Autumn Scoggan.  This AGDEP cohort, celebrates after recieving their Arnhold graduation pins.  Jody Arnhold presented a pin to each graduate, signifying his/her induction into the Arnhold LEAD initiative as each promise to live up to the Hunter College motto, "Mihi Cura Futuri," The care of the future is mine.  Joining the celebration are Hunter College President, Jenifer Raab, Hunter Dance Department Interim Chair, Carol Dilley, Dean Andrew Polsky and AGDEP Director, Kathleen Isaac.  As artists, educators and scholars, each AGDEP graduate enters into a never ending commitment to lifelong learning and leadership in dance.
