The Kossak Gift Hunter College is excited to announce the recent one million dollar gift from Evelyn Kossak. With This historic gift we look forward to a bright future and the continued success of the Hunter College Painting Department. On October 17, 2007 President Jennifer Raab hosted a celebration at the Chelsea Art Museum to commemorate the Kossak Gift. On exhibit at the Museum was "The Incomplete," a painting show which featured work by current Hunter MFA students and Alumni. Students, Faculty, Alumni, and Friends of the Hunter College Department of Art thank Evelyn Kossak.
