MA Students

Dear Incoming MA Students,

We are very pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to the Master of Arts Program in Art History at Hunter College. Please let the Graduate Admissions office know, using the online application system, whether or not you accept this offer. Please also contact Laura Frantz in the office of Graduate Art History regarding your decision.  She can be reached at or at (212) 772-5052 (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

You are welcome to attend the MA/MFA mixer to meet faculty and other students, including those in the Art Studio Program. The mixer is organized to introduce faculty research and course offerings for the Spring semester. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd, at 6:00pm in the Large Critique Room on the 11th floor of Hunter North, just across from the departmental office.

The orientation for incoming MA Art History Students is on Friday, December 5th, also in the large critique room.  During the orientation you will be able to pre-register for your spring semester courses and learn more about the program. Please plan on arriving in the afternoon but we will be in touch again with a precise schedule closer to the time.  Please let Laura Frantz know if you are unable to attend any of these events.
