Federal Work Study Positions available for MFA & Undergrad Students

Printmaking department

The Hunter College Art Galleries are hiring MA and MFA students to serve as gallery attendants for the Fall 2014 semester. Positions are available at The Leubsdorf Art Gallery (68 and Lexington) and the 205 Hudson Street Gallery (in Tribeca) beginning the week of September 15th. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1PM to 6PM.

Interested students MUST be eligible for work study and be able to cover a minimum of one shift. Information about work study status is available through the office of Financial Aid. If interested, please contact Annie Wischmeyer, Assistant Curator, at Thank you.

Job Description

Assisting with all facets of the printmaking area including daily maintenance, cleaning, organizing, data entry, archive maintenance and inventory.

Job Requirements

This student will work closely with Professor Jiyoung Park to coordinate the activities within this discipline. Applicants should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Gmail, and basic Photoshop skills and strong organizational skills.
