In this open info session Simonetta Moro, Director of the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts, will introduce IDSVA to graduate students and faculty at Hunter College.
IDSVA is the first and only PhD program in philosophy, aesthetics, and art theory designed especially for practicing artists and creative scholars. IDSVA’s one of a kind topological studies curriculum blends distance learning and international residency intensives. Visiting faculty include world-class scholars, philosophers, and artists. Residencies sites include Spannocchia Castle in Tuscany, the Venice Biennale, Berlin, Paris, New York City, and Istanbul.
