TYRANNY:  A Search for Dominican Identity is a group exhibition that examines the impact of the Trujillo dictatorship on men and women of Dominican ancestry. This is an opportunity for the new generation of Dominicans and the general public to learn through art of the deep rooted consequences to the Dominican Culture from three decades of one of the most violent dictatorships in Latin America. The goal of this exhibit is to begin addressing the effects to generations of Dominicans that still walk around with open wounds caused by this bloody dictatorship.
