Tara Zanardi was officially named a Feliks Gross Endowment Award recipient by the CUNY Academy for the Humanities and Sciences

I am pleased to announce that at a ceremony at the Graduate Center today, Tara Zanardi was officially named a Feliks Gross Endowment Award recipient by the CUNY Academy for the Humanities and Sciences.  The award recognizes assistant professors in the CUNY system engaged in outstanding research in the humanities or sciences, as judged by reviewing members of the CUNY Academy.  There were six winners this year, chosen from nominations by departments from all of CUNY twenty-plus units, so this is a wonderful acknowledgement of the strength of Tara's work.  And of Hunter's faculty in the Arts and Sciences--of the six winners this year, three are from Hunter.

Please join me in congratulating Tara.
