Anthropology MA Student Wins Award from The Professional Archaeologists of New York City
Anthropology MA student Lisa Geiger has just won the "2014 Bert Salwen Award for the Best Student Paper on New York City Archaeology," a regional competition. This award was presented by the Professional Archaeologists of New York City (PANYC) at their 34th Annual Public Program, Museum of The City of New York, May 4, 2014. Her paper, "Consumer Hygiene and Reproductive Healthcare: The Female Body in Early America," was the result of Independent Study in Summer 2013. She presented a shorter version of this paper at a professional conference.
