Get a head start with your national prestigious scholarship applications
Now is a good time to start thinking about applying for national prestigious scholarships.
Hunter College nominates high-achieving seniors and recent graduates for the Rhodes, Marshall, and Mitchell early in the Fall 2012 term. Students with minimum GPAs of 3.7 who want to study at the University of Oxford or other British or Irish Universities upon graduation should contact the Senior Associate Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Robert Greenberg, to begin working on personal statements and to learn about the process. For rising seniors, applications will be due to the Dean’s Office by September 17. The Rhodes and the Marshall are probably the most prestigious scholarships and are appropriate for students with proven leadership or public service experience. U.S. citizenship is required. To request a one-on-one meeting with the Dean, Please email Dean Greenberg at Robert.firstname.lastname@example.org. Or call (212) 772-5121 to make an appointment.
