Professor Gerald Creed Wins Two Prizes
Professor Gerald Creed, Anthropology, was named co-winner of the William Douglass Prize for the best book in Europeanist Anthropology from the Society for the Anthropology of Europe, and winner of the John D. Bell Memorial Book Prize for the best book in Bulgarian Studies from the Bulgarian Studies Association, for his book Masquerade and Postsocialism: Ritual and Cultural Dispossession in Bulgaria (New Anthropologies of Europe Series).
