Professor Joseph Viteritti Draws Enthusiastic Response for Summer Book Talks

Professor Joseph P. Viteritti (Urban Affairs), editor of Summer in the City: John Lindsay, New York, and the American Dream, gave a book talk a the Bryant Park Reading Room, cosponsored by the New York Historical Society, which drew a packed audience of over 150 people. The book, which provides "an in-depth look at John Lindsay’s tenure as mayor of New York City during the tumultuous 1960s," sold out during the event. Earlier in the summer, Professor Viteritti had given a lecture on the book at the Mid-Manhattan Library, an event which was met with a similarly enthusiastic reception.
