Urban Affairs & Planning Student Selected for Prestigious Fellowship

Brian Lamberta, a student in the Urban Affairs and Planning Department, has been selected to be a 2015-2016 Urban Fellow. The Urban Fellows Program is a highly selective, nine-month fellowship which combines work in Mayoral offices and City agencies with an intensive seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy. The unique opportunity to work with current decision makers and assist in the implementation of public policy distinguishes the Urban Fellows Program as the premier training program in government. Starting in September, Lamberta will work at a NYC agency for at least nine months. According to UAP Department Chair Joseph Vitteritti, "Getting this fellowship is such a competitive process, it is a real honor to be selected."
