Walk-In Advising
Walk-in Advising is canceled on Wednesday March 7, 2012
What is Walk-In Advising?
During walk-in adivising hours, students can come in, without an appointment, to talk to an advisor. Walk-in advising is not for students who require a long appointment, but rather for those who have quick issues that can be handled within a 15 minute time period.
Procedures for Walk-In Advising
There will be a sign-in sheet outside of room East 812. Each student must sign-in next to a 15 minute appointment slot. Once the spots are full, there will be no more walk-ins, even if it is prior to 6pm. It is recommended that a student arrive by 5pm to ensure getting seen by 6pm. The sign-in sheet goes up at 3:45, please do not come earlier and ask to sign-in ahead of time.
Currently, the Director of the Pre-Health Advising Office, Dr. Phillips, holds walk-in advising hours.
Meet with Dr. Phillips to discuss:
- Issues related to courses and performance at Hunter
- Policy issues related to the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program
Winter/Spring 2012
Dr. Phillips will be having weekly walk-in hours on Wednesdays from 4-6pm. Walk-in hours do not require an appointment.
Only Dr. Phillips will be having walk-in hours during this time; Kelly and Cathy see students by appointment only.
