Beginning,
Tuesday,
July 1, 2008,
Hunter College will offer online payments to students who
are paying tuition and fee charges that appear on their eSIMS
student accounts. Students can pay online using either
a credit card or an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world.

Important:
The College
will no longer accept payments using the VISA
card beginning August 1, 2008.
Credit
Card payments:
•
Students using their credit card to pay their tuition and
fee bill will incur a convenience fee in addition to the amount
being charged. This fee is approximately 2.65% of the
amount being charged.
•
Students CANNOT use a credit card to settle their tuition
and fee bill in person at the cashier windows, through the
mail or by fax. ALL
credit card payments made to settle student eSIMS accounts
must be made online ONLY.
•
Students wishing to pay non-instructional fees such as application
fees, library fines, transcript fees and re-admissions fees
using their credit card will have to use their Hunter OneCard.

EFTs
(Electronic Funds Transfers):
•
EFT transactions are free of charge.
•
Student must use a valid bank account and supply their bank
account # and routing #.
Debit
Cards:
•
Students who want to use their debit card and do not have
a bank account linked to it will be able to use it like the
credit card option above however a convenience fee will be
charged.
•
Students who want to use their debit card and have
a bank account linked to it are encouraged to use it like
the EFT option above to avoid paying a convenience fee.
Online
Payment Benefits:
•
Student's eSIMS accounts are updated within minutes of their
processed online payment.
•
Students will receive an email confirmation of their payment(s)
providing that they supplied one to the online payment servicer,
EDS.
•
Students can review up to 18 months of payment history information
online.
Online
Payments & Bursar Stops
If you are making
a payment because you have a Bursar stop, your record will
reflect your payment immediately, however your stop will not
be lifted until the next business day. If you need to
have your stop removed right away, please email your confirmation
receipt to bursarpayment@hunter.cuny.edu.
