Routine passport
service takes between four (4) and six (6) weeks. For
an additional $60.00 fee, the Department of State will
deliver your passport in two (2) to three (3) weeks.
CREDIT
CARDS are not an acceptable form of payment
for any passport fees charged at Hunter College.

Passport
Processing Fees (Effective 2/1/08):
$25.00
- General application fee paid to Hunter College by
cash or money order (only) for all new and renewal passports
- this fee is paid by all applicants no matter where
your passport is processed. This
fee CANNOT be combined or paid with the Department of
State processing fee.
Applicants 15 years and younger :
$60.00 - Fee for all passport applications paid to the
Department of the State by check
or money order only.
Applicants
16 years and older :
$75.00 - Fee for all passport applications paid to the
Department of the State by check
or money order only.
Total Passport Fees:
$85.00 - 15 years and younger
$100.00 - 16 years and older
$60.00 - Expedite fee available for all applicants who
wish to have their passports processed within two (2)
- three (3) weeks. This fee is paid to the Department
of the State by check or money order only.
FIRST TIME PASSPORT APPLICANTS
Passport requirements for all US Citizens 14 years of age and over:
- Proof of citizenship (birth certificate with a raised seal),
- Proof of identity (2 photo Ids with name),
- 2 passport photographs (must be sized accordingly - see below),
- Fees, and
- Completed form DS-11 - must be submitted in person with the applicant's signature witnessed by the College's passport agent.
Passport requirements for all US Citizens under 14 years of age:
- Proof of citizenship (birth certificate with a raised seal),
- Evidence of child's relationship to the parents or guardians,
- Parental identification,
- Fees, and
- Completed form DS-11 - must be submitted in person with the applicant's signature witnessed by the College's passport agent,
If only one parent appears, you must submit the following:
- The second parent's written statement consenting to passport issuance for the child,
- Primary evidence of sole authority to apply, or a written statement (made under penalty of perjury) explaining the second parent's unavailability.
PASSPORT APPLICANT RENEWALS
Passport requirements for all US Citizens 14 years of age and over:
- 2 passport photographs (must be sized accordingly - see below),
- Fees, and
- Completed form DS-82 and
- Mail the documents to: National Passport Center, PO Box 371971, Pittsburgh, PA 15250-9971
PASSPORT APPLICANT REPLACEMENTS
- Proof of citizenship (birth certificate with a raised seal),
- Proof of identity (2 photo Ids with name),
- 2 passport photographs (must be sized accordingly - see below),
- Fees, and
- Completed form DS-64 (Statement Regarding Lost or Stolen Passport).
PASSPORT PHOTOS
For
your convenience, passport photos can be obtained in
OASIS, HN Room 217, at the same times listed above for
passport processing. The fee is $10.00 for two (2) pictures
that are appropriately sized for passports. Click
