Intro To Digital Photography - The Decisive Moment

Course Description
This course will introduce students to the beginner functions of digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) and digital cameras through a variety of class demos and presentations, as well as some engaging creative assignments. You’ll learn the basics on how to control your camera to create that perfect, visual image, with a focus on composition and lighting. This course will cover camera shooting techniques, image editing software, and the work of other contemporary photographers to help you learn and produce your own portfolio of exciting photographs. Whether your style is portraiture, landscape, or simply for the sake of posting to Instagram, participating in this course will give students the confidence using a digital camera and will be a great foundation for anyone who chooses photography as a hobby, college major or, ultimately, a career.
