Networking can be defined simply as an arrangement where two or more computers are connected together using some devices e.g. cables or other medium and equipments that enable the users of the computer system to share devices (e.g. a printer) or data that is located on one of the computers, avoiding the need to duplicate such resources. This certificate program prepares students for careers in the computer networking field. To get the certificate you must complete both levels.

Computer Technician Certificate

This course introduces the student to the basic concepts and mechanics of PC support with emphasis on the concepts at this basic level and more emphasis on the mechanics at the advanced level. To get the certificate you must complete both levels.

This certificate program teaches you how to develop a website for the Internet or an intranet. Among the skills you’ll learn are web design, web content development, web server and network security configuration. With this certificate, you’ll be equipped with the skill of creating presentations of context that can be delivered to an end-user through the World Wide Web or other Web-enabled software such as microblogging clients and RSS readers.

Web Design Certificate

The intent of web design is to create a web site using elements such as text, bit-mapped images, and forms which can be placed on the page using HTML/XHTML/XML tags. You will also learn how to integrate more complex media using plug-ins such as Adobe Flash, QuickTime, and Java.
