This certificate program teaches you how to develop a website for the Internet or an intranet. Among the skills you’ll learn are web design, web content development, web server and network security configuration. With this certificate, you’ll be equipped with the skill of creating presentations of context that can be delivered to an end-user through the World Wide Web or other Web-enabled software, such as Microblogging clients and RSS readers.

Certificate in Web Programming $4000
This program teaches you a range of tools for web development-from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications. Important: students that register for this program must have their own laptop and bring it to each course.
Registration and Tuition:
This Certificate consists of 9 required courses. Tuition is $4000 plus a one time $20 registration fee, or you can register for each course individually, with a $20 registration fee per semester. To register for courses please click on the Course Browser/Registration.

Please be aware that you are registering for the certificate and that you still need to call/come in to the office to choose the classes. If enrollment for a course does not reach a required level, the course will be cancelled. However, when maximum enrollment is reached, the course will be closed immediately and the names of interested registrants will be put on a wait list and notified on a “first come” basis if an opening occurs. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
Students’ progress is measured through examinations, research and writing assignments, and classroom participation. A grade of A, B, or C is required in each course certification. A passing grade is 73=C.
Students are required to attend all the classes and be on time. If absence occurs, the student is responsible for making up missed assignments. The instructor maintains and submits attendance records for each student.

Continuing Education’s certification programs are offered for no college credit. A certificate is awarded to students who successfully meet the requirements explained in the CE bulletin.
