Web Programming

In the Web Programming Certificate program, students learn how to develop a website for the Internet or intranet. Among the skills you’ll learn are web design, web content development, web server and network security configuration.

With these stats in mind, the Web Programming Certificate at Hunter’s Continuing Education arms students with a range of tools for web development ̶ from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications. If you’re interested in preparing yourself with the ability to use the World Wide Web or other Web-enabled software, such as Microblogging clients and RSS readers to reach end-users, the Web Programming Certificate will prepare you for your career as a:

    Registration and Tuition

    This certificate consists of 10 required courses. Tuition for the Web Programming Certificate is $4,700 plus a one-time $35 registration fee, or you can register for each course individually plus the registration fee per semester. This certificate cannot be completed in one semester. Payment plan options are available for students who register in person.


    To register for courses online, visit our online registration portal listed below. You may browse courses and register as a new or returning student. Certificate students, please visit or contact the registration office to select your course schedule per semester. There is a particular order in which to take the courses ̶ please see the program module.


    Course Materials: Students registered for this certificate must bring their personal laptop to each course.
