The class will be taught the use of dynamic methods to correct muscle imbalances to aid in injury prevention and recovery. The class will incorporate different techniques to assist in correcting body mechanics for injury prevention. This class will be taught at a moderate to advanced level to aid in using proper understanding of anatomical points and body mechanics. * Please note: This class is NOT part of the program. This course is meant for those who have completed the program in its entirety. Therefore, students interested in this additional course must pay the full course tuition. Registration fee is waived.
The fitness field calls us frequently asking for instructors and trainers. Hunter will work to provide you job leads as soon as you qualify or complete training.
Christina Camerlingo shares the following about her experience:
"Since completing my course work at Hunter, this past January, I successfully passed the ACE Personal Training Exam. I have begun teaching 2 group fitness classes, one geared towards older adults and the other is a total body conditioning class. I'm also working as a Floor Trainer in a midtown hotel fitness center.
I owe all of my success to Hunter College. Without the Continuing Education program, I would not be as successful as I have been – and its only been a few months! Every instructor was amazing and I learned so much throughout my time in the program".
