Small Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate
Small business is critical to the United States economy. Whether you want to open a traditional store-front, a home operation, an online venture, or simply learn the foundations of business, this certificate equips you with the knowledge and skills you need.

This certificate, developed in partnership with Project for Return and Opportunity in Veterans Education (PROVE), was designed in an effort to promote and expand small business opportunities for veterans throughout New York City. PROVE, founded in 2007, supports student veterans as they transition from military service to student life. Veterans who are interested in pursuing this certificate should contact Holly Fancher, PROVE Coordinator at (212)452-7145, to learn more about using GI Bill benefits towards this program. This certificate is open to all interested participants, including non-veterans.
Registration and Tuition:
This program consists of 6 required courses and 2 electives. Tuition is $2350, plus one time $20 registration fee, or you can register for each course individually, with a $20 registration fee per semester. To register online for courses please click on the Course Browser/Registration. Note:Not all course offerings are available each semester.
Note for those registering online: Please call our office at 212.650.3850 to select classes you are taking per semester. Please be aware that you are registering for the certificate and that you still need to call/come in to the office to choose the classes. If you wish to do a Payment Plan, please come to our office E1022 ( Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).
