Annual 'Holiday Photo Contest' Winners

2013 marks the first year of the Continuing Education Holiday Photo Contest. Continuing Education invites anyone over 18 years old to enter our annual photography contest focused on the holiday season in NYC.

Share your appreciation of the holiday season in New York City and win $100-$250 credit towards any Continuing Education course! We are looking for photos that:
•are taken during Holiday Season December 19th – January 30th
•demonstrate the energy and festiveness of places or neighborhoods of NYC
•show not only architecture and design, but the diversity that the city has to offer

Meet our 2013 Holiday Contest Winners:

First Place: $250 Prize

Photographer: Randy Enochs

Randy Enochs is pursuing a certificate in graphic and web design to follow a 35-year career in banking – a detour after earning a BFA from Kearney State College (now the University of Nebraska-Kearney). Much of his photography centers around his children – 13-year-old triplets.




Second Place: $150 Prize

Photographer: Anthony DiCarlo

"I am Anthony DiCarlo an alumnus of Hunter College. I love art and I am honored my photo was chosen for 2nd place in the holiday photo contest! I have been a Manhattanite since 1989. Whenever I have free time I enjoy photographing our wonderful and lively city."





Third Place: $100 Prize

Photographer: Joyce Kolyer

Joyce Kolyer is an inveterate New Yorker and retired. As such, she is able to augment a lifelong interest in photography. "I find I look for the intuitive moment that speaks for itself, i.e looking up at 57th Street and Madison Avenue".
