Continuing Education at Hunter College is launching our new “green” curriculum this fall:

Greening Your Professional Career

Green job opportunities exist in every industry sector. This course will explore what defines a green job and where the opportunities are. It will offer information on how to translate your current skills and identify additional training that may be needed on your green career path. It will also cover how to identify new job opportunities and network in the green sector. Topics will include:

Definition of a green job
Professional opportunities
Transitioning to a green job/ career
What skills/training will I need
How to identify job opportunities
Networking

The Green & Healthy Home    

The course will explore green products and materials and how they help contribute to the health of your home and its inhabitants [family]. Learn how to read a label as well as what to look for in cleaning products, home renovation materials, furnishings etc. Topics will include:

Indoor air quality
Cleaning products
Reading and understanding labels
Green Home furnishings products
Green Renovation and rehab
Greener products can help improve or eliminate:

Allergies/Asthma
Energy/fatigue
Headaches
Colds
And many other conditions
