| Speaker Information | Roy Vanegas attended Columbia University before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science and music from Hunter College in New York City. He holds a Master of Professional Studies in interactive computer music from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and is currently pursuing a second master's degree in music composition at Queens College's Aaron Copland School of Music. He teaches/tutors computer programming and works as a freelancing software engineer. Li Gardiner has been a digital illustrator, designer and art director for 25 years. Since 1993, she has taught design, illustration, prepress and career development at The Graduate School, Touro College, The Cooper Union, and San Francisco State University; and for seven years chaired the Print Design program at the Center for Electronic Art. In 1995, motivated by her active fine arts career, Li founded the Artist Resource, a non-profit online community which served ten million artists and students nationwide.Li received a BA in Visual Arts from the State University of New York, and MA in Illustration from FIT. |
