Katharine Sands
is a literary agent with the Sarah Jane Freymann Literary Agency in New York. She is the editor of Making the Perfect Pitch: How to Catch a Literary Agent's Eye and has been a guest expert on writing and publishing for Poets and Writers, The American Society of Journalists and Authors, New York University, and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Mystery Fan's Book Club $125
Love mysteries? Our readings include the following classic mysteries: The Shape of Water by Andrea Camilleri; a Donna Leon mystery entitled Willful Behavior; Michael Dibdin’s Vendetta; a new series detective, Oscar Wilde, in Oscar Wilde and the Vampire Murders by Gyles Brandreth; and Ruth Rendell’s recent mystery Portebello. The sixth selection will be chosen by the class. Please read The Shape of Water for the first class.
Rosemary Gelshenen is a teacher and author, having composed her own book, Instant English Literature, and having co-authored several manuals for aspiring fiction writers.  Rosemary has been teaching for several decades, having been awarded the New York City “Teacher of the Year” award in 1983.
