Spring at the Writing Center, CE promises to come up all flowers. Once again we’ll be presenting our “Best Selling Author Series” and our “Great Thinkers of Our Time Series.” In addition, there will be two special evenings: one with the Kleiers, hosts of the hit TV show “Selling New York,” and another with David Patrick Columbia editor of Quest Magazine and New York Social Diary. Master classes will include Memoir with Daphne Merkin, Comedy Writing with Bruce Jay Friedman, Fiction with Alison Espach, and a new Songwriting class with master lyricist Marty Panzer, plus a new class on finding a literary agent with Katharine Sands. When you combine these offerings with the superb writing classes taught by our regular faculty, we think you will agree that it is a very special program, a virtual garden of delights. Enjoy!

In Spring 2012, we will be running our Best Selling Author Series and Great Thinkers of Our Time Series once again.  In addition, we will also be hosting an Evening with the Kleiers and an Evening with David Patrick Columbia. A question and answer session plus book-signing and reception will follow each lecture.

Writing Workshops

The Writing Center’s renowned professional faculty teach courses in fiction, memoir, short story and various other creative writing subjects. This semester The Writing Center will offer four Master Classes taught by Daphne Merkin, Alison Espach, Marty Panzer, and Bruce J. Friedman.
