Ph.D. Programs

Masters Programs

Masters in Biochemistry
Hunter College Department of Chemistry offers three flexible options for students interested in studying Biochemistry at the graduate level. Please refer to the Graduate Catalog program description for more information. Professor Yujia Xu is the advisor for the Masters in Biochemistry program.

MA in Adolescent Chemistry Education
The Hunter College Department of Chemistry and Hunter College School of Education jointly offers this MA program for those preparing to teach Chemistry in grades 7-12 to students of diverse backgrounds, abilities and interests. Please refer to the Graduate Catalog program description and the School of Education's program description for more information. Dr. Gabriela Smeureanu is the Chemistry Department Advisor for the Chemistry Education programs.

BA/MA in Adolescent Chemistry Education
The Hunter College Department of Chemistry and Hunter College School of Education jointly offers this BA/MA program for prospective teachers interested in serving as high-quality teachers for students in urban secondary schools.
