The first year of graduate study can be overwhelming because it involves many transitions in your life. In order to make these transitions as smooth as possible, Hunter's Chemistry Department provides close guidance to all first year students. For any questions related to the first year study and transition into your new life, contact the first year advisor, Prof. Akira Kawamura.

Rotation Requirement: First year Chemistry Ph.D. students who intend to join a group in the department must complete two rotations. For more information, contact Prof. Akira Kawamura.
