Marty recently completed a master’s degree in mental health counseling at New York University. Having been a recruiter in the past for CHEST, he is excited to be able to return to the organization and contribute to the research in a new way. His clinical work is focused both on trauma and co-occurring disorders with substance abuse. He plans to continue for a degree in clinical psychology.
Marty’s research interests include the clinical implications of stigma and their impact on attachment as well as substance abuse as a response to trauma.
