Catherine is interested in the sociocultural factors that shape health outcomes among marginalized communities, particularly Caribbean-American communities and other local populations which are disproportionately affected by the epidemic. Through her work at CHEST, Catherine has explored strength based approaches to managing multiple minority identities.
