Ja'Nina is currently a student at the Graduate Center-CUNY pursuing a Ph.D in Developmental Psychology. Her area of interest focuses on identity development of LGBT youth of color, particularly Black and Latino-Americans.
Ja'Nina is also interested in how mitigating factors such as religion, parent-child relationships, and cultural practices influence the coming out process and identity of LGBT youth.
