Lecturer in Chinese Language and Pedagogy

The Chinese Division of the Department of Classical and Oriental Studies of Hunter College, City University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track lecturer position in Chinese language and pedagogy. Appointment will begin on September 1, 2012.  A Ph.D degree in linguistics, applied linguistics, second language acquisition, or instructional technology is preferred, but applicants with a Masters degree plus an exceptionally strong background in coordinating language programs, intensive summer programs (domestic and abroad) at college level will also be considered. Expertise in the areas of computer-assisted instruction and instructional technology is a plus. Salary range: $41,435-74,907, depending on experience.
