RESEARCH INTERESTS
Aegean Prehistory; Bronze Age Interconnections in the Eastern Mediterranean; Minoan and Mycenaean pottery.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROJECTS
As part of an on-going study of the Mycenaean pottery excavated on the Koukounaries Hill, Paros, Greece, Professor Koehl brings a group of students each summer to Greece to work as his research assistant. The work involves the processing of the pottery (sorting, mending, cataloguing, drawing, photographing), for its eventual publication.
