May I participate in the Spring ceremony instead?
Unfortunately not. Due to the extremely large graduating class and attendance at the spring ceremony we can not permit winter graduates to opt to attend in the spring. Exceptions are made only in extreme emergency circumstances and with approved documentation.

Will my name be in the Commencement Program?
If you are completing your credits this semester, and wish to ensure that your name is included in the commencement program, you must submit a Degree Audit Application Form by November 14, 2013. Students who file after that date will not be guaranteed that their names will be in the program. Degree Audit Applications are available and must be submitted in the OASIS (HN 217).

**Please note, attending the commencement ceremony and inclusion in the commencement program merely indicates that an individual is a candidate for graduation, and may not be used as proof of completion of the degree requirements.

Do students cross the stage at Commencement?
No, our high number of graduates participating in the ceremony always makes our ceremonies lively, memorable and extremely well attended. To accommodate this high number of attendees, our students are acknowledged and graduated in groups (by school).

When will I get my diploma?
As diplomas are not distributed during Commencement, they may be picked up at the Hunter OASIS (HN217) by graduates upon notification by the Registrar, whether or not you attend the ceremony. For additional information, please see the Registrar's website.
