Celebrate #GivingTuesday by Giving to Hunter

  • A freshman sits wide-eyed in her first Biology lecture. The daughter of immigrants, she will be the first person in her family to graduate college.
  • Attending an event at the Roosevelt House, a political science major has the opportunity to meet a well-known international dignitary. This not only reenergizes his love for service, but has also allowed him to mingle with professionals working in his chosen field, securing him a much valued internship.
  • A graduating senior tosses her cap high knowing that her Hunter degree will allow her to get ahead in her future career, earn a higher salary, and be able to support her family.

There are so many reasons to give back to Hunter for #GivingTuesday 2013, but none more compelling than the story of our students. Students who would not have been able to achieve their goals without gifts from alumni like you.

On behalf of every Hunter student, thank you in advance for your support.

#GivingTuesday is a nationwide movement to create a day of giving on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In the same way that retail stores take part in Black Friday or Cyber Monday, the hope is that everyone will come together and participate in #GivingTuesday to give back to charitable organizations that do so much for so many.
