A Message to the Hunter Community about the Tragic Events in Japan

We at Hunter College continue to express our sympathy and support for the people of Japan and for all those affected by the recent disaster and ongoing crisis. We want to remind our students and the entire community, especially those with family and friends in Japan, about relief efforts underway at CUNY and on the Hunter campus.

At Chancellor Goldstein's request, Frank Sanchez, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, is leading the University's relief efforts in collaboration with city and state agencies and disaster relief organizations. Hunter’s International Students Office, a division of the Office of Student Services, is coordinating the College’s relief efforts. If you would like to contribute in any way, please contact the Campus Disaster Relief Coordinator at 212-772-4903.

Hunter's Counseling and Wellness Services are available to those students affected by this tragedy. Please stop by the Counseling Office in Room 1123-East for an appointment to speak with a counselor for support.
