Hunter College Mourns the Passing of Former Geography Department Chair Russell Alan White
Russell Alan White (1936-2016)
Hunter Hall of Famer Russell Alan White, a professor of geography from 1968 to 1992, and department chair from 1973-1982, died in October, just short of his 80th birthday. He is remembered by former students and colleagues as a man of great intellect—and great humor.
